OK, so this submission isn’t EXACTLY what was specified, but most definitely stood out in my mind, and I believe, fulfills the requirements of the assignment. In my work as a Technology Integration Specialist, I have a group of “tech-phobic” teachers who did not grasp the fundamental symbology present in most software packages and web pages. As we have to interpret symbols in everyday life, I tried to find a fun way to link what they knew, and get them to apply it to technological applications. This is a portion of an interactive power point presentation I used to introduce the concept of symbols as a guide through web pages and computers in general.
